Role: ADHD Administrator
Job Type: Temporary
Salary: £11.44 per hour
Location: Segensworth
Hours: Monday - Friday , 37.5 hours a week.
This role is ideal for an experienced administrator with an interest in ADHD who wants to join an expanding team.
You will be working for an organisation that provides a service delivering all aspects of the ADHD journey for adults, including those seeking diagnosis and those already diagnosed, who may or may not be on medication.
As an ADHD Administrator you will play a crucial role within the patient’s care pathway.
In the role of ADHD Administrator you will be working within a multidisciplinary team.
Duties and responsibilities of an ADHD Administrator:
Manage inbound calls and emails, dealing with queries from patients, families and healthcare professionals, and direct enquiries to appropriate members of the team.
As the first point of contact for patients, families and healthcare professionals contacting the service, you will need to act in a caring, professional, and courteous manner.
Manage outgoing calls for appointment scheduling, patient liaison, communication with external services.
Perform general administrative tasks including document management, appointment reminders, referral management, task management, and supporting the clinical team.
Ensure the smooth scheduling and maintenance of clinic appointment books - to facilitate a prompt and responsive patient journey.
Experience
Must have administration experience
Good telephone manner
Proven experience of providing admin support to a busy team
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to exercise judgement when dealing with patient enquires/problems.
Must be computer literate within Microsoft Office.
Previous experience working within the NHS Trust, GP surgery or Care Navigator.
