Are you looking to switch from career in care to caring by phone? or have you had a career in retail/customer Service?

As a out of hours call handler you will be first point of contact for patients and customers. Delivering a great and caring service efficiently whilst ensuring the customers’ medical need is progressed correctly.

The subject matter of the calls will be varied, sometimes challenging and of a sensitive nature but for the right candidate this will be a rewarding role within a friendly and progressive company.

Full training will be provided for candidates who are successful.


Duties and Responsibilities of a Call Handler:

· Liaise with customers, patients and partners to arrange the necessary services required, logging calls appropriately.

· Dispatching cases to a remote clinical workforce, capturing information etc.

· Liaise with customers, patients and partners to arrange the necessary services.

· Deal with enquiries in a helpful, respectful and courteous manner, always introducing yourself and the service.

· Patient and customer sensitivity and confidentiality is paramount.

· Maintaining records in accordance with statutory and company procedures.

· Comfort calling patients in accordance to keep them updated on timelines.


About You:

· Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to exercise judgement when dealing with patient enquires/ problems.

· Must be computer literate within Microsoft Office.

· Previous experience within a customer focused environment.
