Role: Group Financial Accountant

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £48,000 to £52,000 per annum DOE

Location: Chandlers Ford

Hours: 37.5 hours a week. Hybrid available

We are supporting our client with an exciting opportunity to join their well-known, growing organisation. In this Group Financial Accountant role, you will be working in a commercial office environment, assisting the company's everyday financial reporting operations.

Duties and responsibilities of a Group Financial Accountant include:

· Maintaining accurate accounts in line with Group reporting deadlines.

· Find solutions on monthly management account consolidation with assistance from the accounts team.

· Answer questions about the precise gathering of monthly predictions.

· Prepare the group companies' annual statutory accounts for auditor inspection,

· Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and prepare monthly control accounts

· Examine and manage fixed asset accounting, making sure they match the appropriate ledger where applicable to the Group Companies.

· Qualified accountant: ICAEW or ACCA

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to use Microsoft Office and website programmes.

· Strong planning and time management skills

· Attention to detail with a proactive and effective approach to driving improvements.

· Ability to use own initiative as well as manage a team.
