Hours: Mon-Fri -37.5 hours per week 9:00am - 5:30pm

We are seeking an enthusiastic Health and Safety Manager on behalf of our client to oversee the Health, Safety & Environmental function within the business. As a Health and Safety Manager you will ensure all HSE requirements are maintained, with a key focus on successfully managing external audits. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety Manager, looking to take full ownership over the QHSE function.

Duties and Responsibilities as Health and Safety Manager:

· Responsible for all Quality, Health & Safety

· Preparing for external QHSE audits, going through the audit with the external auditor and implementing corrections and changes to company policies & procedures post audit.

· Ensuring that company HSE standards are retained, developed, and protected in line with existing legislation

· Carrying out risk assessments

· Investigating all accidents and incidents

· Ensuring a comprehensive ISO accredited Quality System is in use

About You & Experience required:

· Minimum 3 years within a similar role

· Proven experience of working with external auditors

· Previous experience in a Quality HSE role

· Experience within an electronic manufacturing environment.

· NEBOSH

· IOSH

· Knowledge of ISO9001; ISO14001; ISO45001

· Strong organisational skills / Problem Solver

· Proactive - able to use own initiative
