Role: Highways Officer

Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours Mon-Fri 7.5-hour days (Core working hours are 10-4)

We are thrilled to be recruiting for a Highways Officer to join our client in Fareham. Our client is a Fast growing, award winning structural engineering and transport planning consultancy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Write, check and approve technical reports
Good understanding or modelling packages and methodologies
Support preparation of and approve technical drawings where appropriate
Attendance as expert witness at appeal hearings and/or public inquiries
Project manage schemes, including budget and time management
Assist with training and mentoring members of staff
Develop and inform Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and team strategies
Represent the company at external meetings / events with Clients
About You: / Experience required:
Degree level qualification or equivalent experience
At least 7 years transport planning experience
Extensive Transport Planning experience
Experience in managing/training members of staff
Experience of working with computer-based systems including Microsoft programmes
