Role: Highways Planner

Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours Mon-Fri 7.5-hour days (Core working hours are 10-4)

We are thrilled to be recruiting for a Highways Planner to join our client in Fareham. Our client is a Fast growing, award winning structural engineering and transport planning consultancy.
As a Highways Planner you will be working within a Transport Team responsible for leading and managing small–medium sized projects, including budget and time management, delegating where appropriate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Successfully project manage schemes
Write, check and on occasion approve technical reports
Excellent client / officer liaison and management
Ability to complete / review / approve planning drawing requirements
Good understanding of junction modelling packages, and methodologies
Complete access appraisals: including ability to design a variety of access options and provide high level feedback to clients
Attend business development / networking events
About You: / Experience required:
Degree level qualification or equivalent experience
Be able to manage your workload and delegate tasks where necessary
At least 5 years’ experience in Transport Planning
Ability to support projects outside of direct responsibility by providing guidance, attending meetings, and advising clients
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
