The Role:
As an IT Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the management, monitoring, security, and documentation of yachting Network Infrastructure.
In addition to this there is an opportunity to travel extensively, installing and configuring AVIT systems on yachts for global projects. Working with various stakeholders demonstrating technical expertise and IT knowledge to provide an exceptional customer service.
Key duties and responsibilities for the IT Network Engineer:
Assist in the design, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure.
Monitor network performance, identify and resolve network issues.
Proactively address potential problems to ensure smooth operations.
Implement and maintain robust security measures.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation.
Provide technical support and assistance to clients.
Assist in planning and implementing network upgrades and enhancements.
About you:
Relevant degree or previous experience; knowledge of Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on networking.
Strong technical skills of network protocols, TCP/IP, routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
Understanding with network security principles and best practices. Industry certifications: CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent - highly desirable.
Ability to adapt to fast-paced and ever-changing environment across various projects. Flexibility to travel
