Hours: 24 hours per week

We are recruiting for Learning Support Assistant to join our client based in Southampton between 2 sites within 5-mile radius of each other. Our client is a leading educational site in the UK. They have great reputation for providing learners and staff alike with the opportunity to achieve excellence within a supportive environment.

Duties and Responsibilities of a Learning Support Assistant:

• Providing 1:1 support in the classroom, with the option of small group support.

• Provide necessary supplementary learning help to students with learning challenges.

• Create individual learning plans outline how learners receive additional learning support to achieve learning outcomes.

• Ensure effective communication between learning support and curriculum staff leads to smooth additional learning support offered to all eligible learners in the most suitable method and location.

About you:

• Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant.

• Have a valid DBS.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Enthusiastic, positive with a “can do” attitude.

• GSCE Qualifications certificates.
