Location: Eastleigh
Hours: Monday – Friday. 9am – pm

The Role:
Are you a creative, organised marketing professional looking to take the lead in a varied and impactful role?
Our client is seeking a Marketing & Communications Officer to drive marketing strategies, increase engagement, and grow membership across the organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, passionate non-profit where your ideas and initiative will make a real difference.
As Marketing & Communications Officer you will lead a team of two, helping them to achieve their full potential while delivering high quality output.
Key Responsibilities for the Marketing & Communications Officer:
- Manage and deliver email marketing campaigns (Mailchimp or similar)
- Oversee and grow social media channels (Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram)
- Design marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
- Create engaging content including blogs, podcasts, and video
- Update and maintain website content (Drupal CMS)
- Organise and attend events, including awards and industry trade shows
- Build partnerships and manage PR opportunities with industry publications
- Support and grow membership through targeted campaigns and outreach
- Coordinate student presentations and engagement initiatives
- Lead, support and develop team members
About You:
- We’re looking for a proactive and creative marketing all-rounder who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Essential:
· At least 2 years’ experience in marketing/communications
· Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and email marketing tools
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Experience managing staff or volunteers
· Confident using CMS/CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Desirable:
· Experience managing events
· Knowledge of copywriting and design principles
· Degree in marketing, business, or similar
