We are thrilled to be recruiting for a Principal Civil Engineer - Land Development to join our client in Fareham. Our client is a Fast growing, award winning structural engineering and transport planning consultancy.

As Principal Civil Engineer - Land Development, you will lead the civil design process, ensuring quality, technical excellence, and efficient project delivery across a range of infrastructure projects.

Duties and Responsibilities for a Principal Civil Engineer - Land Development:

· Develop and maintain construction detail databases

· Check and review drawings for quality and accuracy

· Produce high-quality civil engineering design drawings

· Draft construction details and bespoke designs from engineer sketches

· Support engineers with technical design drawings

· Ensure all work complies with CAD and client standards

· Maintain large-scale site drawings and templates

· Assist with drainage & highway design projects

· Liaise with developers, architects, and local authorities

· Follow QMS procedures and support knowledge sharing across teams

About You: / Experience required:

· Chartered incorporated or working towards ICE or equivalent

· Significant experience in civil infrastructure design (drainage, highways, S278/S38)

· Strong leadership and mentoring skills

· Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and relevant design software

· Excellent communication and project management abilities

· Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to deadlines
