Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week- 9:00 am – 5:30 pm (no hybrid)

We are currently seeking an Accounts Assisatnt on behalf of our client based in Totton. This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Assistant with a strong background in finance and accounting to join a supportive and collaborative environment.
The role involves providing day-to-day support to the finance team, managing sales and purchase ledgers, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring internal databases are consistently updated. The successful candidate will bring a high level of accuracy, organisation, and the ability to work independently while contributing effectively to the wider team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Carry out general office duties, including filing, scanning, and supporting reception to ensure smooth daily operations
Complying with company policies and procedures
Reconcile sales invoices with dispatch notes and chase proof of delivery where required
Raise and process tenant invoices accurately and on time
Recording and maintaining the holiday database
Reconciliation of purchase invoice with internal purchase orders
About you:
Basic IT skills including Microsoft excel
GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English at Grade A–C / 9–4 is essential
Good attention to detail
Highly organised and reliable
Basic understanding of financial processes
Previous office or administrative experience is desirable
